Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Vince McMahon continues to cash out of his stock in TKO Group Holdings, the company formed by the merger of WWE and UFC that is majority-owned by Endeavor. McMahon, the founder of WWE, resigned from the board of TKO Group in January 2024 in the wake of sexual assault and sex trafficking allegations against him by a former employee as detailed in a lawsuit. McMahon has strongly denied the allegations.

AMC Entertainment chief executive Adam Aron saw a 2023 compensation package of $25.4 million — up from $23.7 million a year ago – inflated by stock awards worth $17.9 million along with a cash bonus of $6 million bonus and a $1.5 million base salary.

Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor A federal judge Monday dismissed a lawsuit brought by Elon Musk‘s X against the Center for Countering Digital Hate, ruling it was “evident” the litigation was intended “to punish CCDH for CCDH publications that criticized X Corp.” X, the Musk-owned social network formerly known as Twitter, in July 2023 sued the Center for Countering Digital Hate, an independent nonprofit research group, over the organization’s findings that since the multibillionaire acquired the company hate, racism and disinformation on the social platform has substantially increased. Musk has not commented on X about the decision.

Through the investment, Scholastic will acquire 100% of the economic interest in and a minority of voting rights in 9 Story Media, the animation studio behind TV shows including “Doc McStuffins” (pictured above), “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Octonauts,” “Wild Kratts” and “The Magic School Bus Rides Again.” The companies said the deal “solidifies” the more than two decades of collaboration between Scholastic Entertainment and 9 Story.

McMahon’s sale comprised 5.35 million shares of TKO, per an SEC filing Monday. That came after he sold 8.4 million shares of Class A common stock in TKO — in sale worth $670.3 million — last November.
