Actress Tina Malone's husband Paul Chase tragically passed away last month at the age of 42 and now the Shameless star has paid an emotional tribute to him.
The 61 year old bid farewell to her husband of 13 years at his funeral two weeks ago and now, six weeks on from his passing, Tina has opened up on her grief and says that the day that Paul died was when her "world fell apart". She wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter): "Six weeks ago today was the worst day of my entire life, my world fell apart, my hubby Paul is dead, but he lives forever in my heart x." Fans of the star were quick to show their support and replied to her message.
One wrote: "So sorry for your loss. Heartbreaking news condolences to you and your family," while another said: "Sending you & Flame big hugs Tina.
When you did interviews you both came across so down to earth & relatable." Tina and Paul got married in 2010 and had their first child, Flame Chase, three years later when Tina was 50.
They split up after being married for nine years, but they had been together for 11 years. However in February 2020, they announced they were back together again and happier than ever.
At the time of Paul's funeral, his family said their final farewells to him in his hometown of Liverpool. Clad in black, Tina cut a solemn figure as she led the procession of mourners from her home, with family, friends, and members of Paul's regiment in attendance, many donning regimental ties.
Tina's - who also starred in Brookside - recent post comes after she revealed she has been left 'broken' and 'so bereft' as she recounted the last moments with her late husband.
