Tiffany Haddish made a surprising revelation about the very first movie that she starred in – she wasn’t paid for it.
The 43-year-old Girls Trip actress opened up about the project during an interview with the Associated Press. She revealed how the movie’s producers “paid” her after the work was done.

“My very first movie I ever did that I was the star in, I was homeless while I was shooting that movie,” she revealed. “They were supposed to pay me $1,200 to do the movie.”
She continued, saying, “They never paid me. They never paid me a dime. The producers gave me 10 DVDs and said, ‘Sell those. Good luck.’ I never saw the movie.” Tiffany explained that since it was a non-union project there wasn’t much she could do.
After the success of Girls Trip, the movie made a comeback and was airing on networks and streaming platforms. “It’s everywhere that movie! I don’t get a dime. It’s the second worst movie I was ever in. Not a penny,” she said.
While she didn’t name the project, the first movie credit on her IMDb profile is a 2005 project called The Urban Demographic.
If you missed it, Tiffany recently revealed that she bought a wedding dress but wasn’t using it to walk down the aisle.
