Three primary schools in Salford are to shut after the parent of a pupil at one was diagnosed with coronavirus.
The child is a pupil at Lewis Street Primary School.
The school closed at lunchtime today (Thursday).
Two linked schools - Christ Church Primary in Eccles and Lark Hill in Salford - will close tomorrow (Friday) because of the movement of staff between facilities.
It comes a second case was confimed in Tameside, and a third in Stockport, taking the Greater Manchester total to 26.
