This Morning's Josie Gibson confesses to 'dark spot' in life as she opens up on dating

Josie Gibson has opened up on relationship struggles, following rumours she was seeing a TV cameraman.
The presenter was talking to Davina McCall with co-presenter Holly Willoughby on ITV's This Morning today, 13 September, for a segment discussing Davina's new TV dating show My Mum, Your Dad, dubbed a 'mid-life Love Island'. As 55 year old Davina said, "If you're not with someone, it's tough," Josie, 38, replied: "It is tough out there, I'll confirm that." Although she at first appeared to laugh off her own comment, Davina then stood up from her sofa to hug Josie, with Josie confessing to a "dark spot" in her life.
"She always comes out here in a time of need," she said, pointing to Davina. She continued: "Every time I go through a little dark spot in my life, Davina, you always pop out from somewhere.
You're like my TV auntie." The former Big Brother winner recently revealed she has a new boyfriend, during an episode of Shopping With Keith Lemon.
Talking about how it was still early days for her and the mystery man, she said: "There is someone in my life at the moment but it’s early stages. It’s that bit where you’ve got the flutters, can’t-wait-to see-them vibes – you get a little bit nervous." She added: "I’ve said I love you.
It’s best to just get it out of the way, I don’t like playing games.” Earlier in the year, Josie was mistakenly linked to her This Morning colleague, Sam Morter, after she shared an Instagram post of her holding hands with the cameraman in front of the Eiffel Tower.
