The xx’s Romy Madley Croft played a set during an Instagram Live session earlier today (April 19). During her performance, Croft announced that she was working on her debut solo album, as Stereogum points out. Croft also played a new song, slated to appear on the solo LP. Find her performance of track, reportedly titled “Weightless,” below.
According to Stereogum, Croft didn’t offer any details regarding the album’s release date, but she did say that the LP is going to be a “lot more upbeat,”
