The Wanted's Max George has reportedly split with his ex-girlfriend Stacey Giggs, the ex-wife of footballer Ryan Giggs, for the second time. Max, 33, and Stacey, 43, dated for four years, and he even played the role of step-father to her two children, before the pair called it quits in March and then getting back together. Now though, it seems that they've finally broken up for good, after The Sun reported that the couple have realised things are "not meant to be" between them.
A source told the publication: "Max and Stacey are no longer together, they had a great relationship but as time passed, they realised it wasn't to be." The source went on to reveal that Stacey was a good support to the singer after his The Wanted bandmate Tom Parker passed away following an 18 month battle with brain cancer in March this year. The source said: "Stacey was a rock to Max when Tom passed away and she supported him through it all. "They are both being very adult about it and it was as amicable a split could be. Max and Stacey only wish the best for each other going forwards." MailOnline reports that Max has since unfollowed Stacey on Instagram following their split.
OK! has contacted Max George's representatives for comment. Max's reported split from Stacey comes one day after Max got a tattoo in tribute to his former bandmate Tom Parker after his death in March. Tom would have celebrated his 34th birthday on Thursday 4 August, and Max got his birth date - 4.06.1988 - tattooed on his chest.
Max posted a series of photos of himself as he revealed his new tattoo in memory of his late friend. Beside the photos of the touching tribute, Max captioned: “04.08.1988. Happy Birthday brother…You’re always with me”, adding a heart emoji.Tom was
