Perhaps the most show-stopping look, though, was a white bell-sleeved Anrealage coat that, when exposed to UV light that slowly moved down her body, turned into a kaleidoscope of colors. After the coat’s transformation, the singer cooly took it off to reveal a pearl-embellished Balmain bodysuit underneath.Social media observers went wild for the futuristic fashion, hailing her as “the queen of AI” and “BeyoncéGPT” — in a nod to ChatGPT. But there was no artificial intelligence involved in the high-tech stage hijinks.
Rather, it appeared to be the handwork of Tokyo-based Anrealage designer Kunihiko Morinaga, who wowed fashionistas at Paris Fashion Week in March by making similar fashion magic. There, Morinaga integrated his light-dependent polychromic technology into faux fur, velvet, lace, knits, jacquards and satins, according to Vogue. For the garments, he reportedly uses photosensitive fabrics and materials that change color when exposed to UV rays and direct sunlight — bathing once colorless togs into a sea of vibrant patterns and colors.Once the photochromatic areas are no longer exposed to UV rays, the ensembles return to their original color after about three minutes — allowing Beyoncé to remove the holographic-seeming coat before the colors faded away. Representatives for Anrealage did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment about its reported work with Beyoncé. The luminescent look was one of 9 costume changes Beyonce made throughout the night — all of them playing on light and color. Her other stop-and-stare ‘fits included an optical illusion Loewe catsuit that made it appear that hands were covering her body; an iridescent bodysuit with a matching biker jacket and detachable skirt by

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Tina Turner, who died Wednesday at 83, rarely failed to electrify, not just in person but with cameras as her conduit to the audience, too. Longtime Grammys executive producer Ken Ehrlich worked with Turner on programs from the late ’70s through the late ’90s, and he shared his memories with Variety of three particularly memorable TV performances. The first of these was in 1985, when she sang “What’s Love Got to Do With It” on the Grammys, the same year she won record of the year for that song — arguably the peak of her career, though she’d been revered for a quarter-century before that and would become a bigger superstar still in the next 25 years to follow. The second appearance he singles out is a duet between Turner and Elton John for a 1999 “VH1 Divas” special that got more fiery behind the scenes than necessary, albeit possibly to its benefit. Finally, he was an integral part of one of Turner’s last great TV spots, a highly copacetic duet with Beyoncé on the 2008 Grammys telecast.

Palmer also wrote the script for the project, much of which was based on her experience growing up in show business, navigating her relationships with her family outside of a grueling professional schedule, and her turbulent time working with toxic music label executives who tried to tell her what kind of artist she could be. “I ended up writing the story that I didn't even know I wanted to tell," says, "which was my musical journey and all that I experienced and learned and felt, and how the different narratives that I had told myself stopped me from being able to live in this very expressive, creative flow.”Palmer’s talent as a performer was apparent from an early age—she had show-stopping solos in her local church choir at just five years old, and was not yet a teenager when she made her film debut in 2004’s Barbershop 2: Back in Business.
