“Whatever happens next, it’s not gonna go down the way you think it is,” Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) says in the two-minute trailer, which also features Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) taking on the persona of criminal defense lawyer Saul Goodman.
There are also major Breaking Bad references, including the Salamanca cousins, and Saul’s Cadillac with the “LWYRUP” vanity license plate.
The season follow Jimmy’s winding road to becoming Saul as well as his complicated relationship with Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), who’s facing an existential crisis of her own. Mike, Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando) and Lalo (Tony Dalton) find themselves in a game of cat and mouse with the highest possible stakes.
The 13-episode final season will air in two batches, with the first seven episodes arriving weekly beginning April 18. After a six-week hiatus, the final six episodes will debut starting on July 11. Get more details about what to expect!

Bob Odenkirk is sharing more details about his near-fatal heart incident that occurred on the set of "Better Call Saul" last year. Odenkirk, 59, opened up about the July 2021 health scare in a sit-down interview with "Today." At the time of the incident, reports said he was rushed to the hospital after experiencing a heart attack. In a sneak-peek clip released from the upcoming TV interview, Odenkirk said doctors have called it a "heart incident." "Hey everybody, I had a heart attack, but if you're a heart doctor, you know I had a heart incident," he says, adding, "I'd love a doctor to explain to me what the difference is."
