“Succession” assembled pretty much every major cast member – past and present – for the funeral of Logan Roy, and that posed a unique challenge for director Mark Mylod when it came to covering all the actors in a limited window of availability. His solution? Shoot it like a multi-cam comedy with lots of cameras and a long, extended take.“With those hyper-emotional scenes, there’s just a trust that’s involved,” Mylod said in the behind-the-scenes video for the episode.

She is afraid of demonstrations taking place in New York City the morning after a controversial presidential election saw Jeryd Mencken (Justin Kirk) coming out on top and wants to head upstate instead. This, of course, causes Kendall to erupt, with him threatening to lay down in front of her car to prevent them from leaving.

Succession actor Fisher Stevens has revealed that he’s written a spin-off focusing on his character, Hugo Baker.Stevens has portrayed Hugo, an executive at the fictional Waystar RoyCo company, in seasons two, three and four of the HBO series.Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said he wrote an unofficial story about Hugo’s future, with the show coming to an end later this month with the conclusion of the fourth and final season.“I do that whenever I get a part. Variety confirmed. “It’s 90 minutes,” Emmy winning composer Nicholas Britell said. “It’s a huge episode — like a movie.” The episode will be directed by “Succession” executive producer Mark Mylod, and will air on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, May 28. While little else is known about what to expect, Variety previously reported in a cover story with HBO chief Casey Bloys that the network is not developing any spinoffs.
