A Scottish farm experience has been named among the best Easter days out in the UK.
With the Easter holiday just around the corner, people across Scotland and beyond will be starting to think about how best to make the most of the time off. There is a seemingly endless list of things you can get up to around the country with your loved ones, from picturesque hikes to wildlife-spotting expeditions.
For those needing help narrowing down the options, The Times recently published a list of the seven top Easter activities throughout the UK. One of the attractions singled out was Kersheugh Farm in the Scottish Borders.
The farm, which is located near the charming town of Jedburgh, is owned by Fenwick and Jasmine Jackson. Together, they offer a range of fun activities and tours that give an insight into farming life in rural Scotland.

Among the highlights of Kersheugh Farm is its lambing experience, which allows visitors to pet and bottle-feed adorable baby sheep. According to the Kersheugh website, its lambing season usually begins in April and lasts until June.
Meanwhile, the farm also offers Highland cow experiences that let guests get "up close and personal with one of Scotland's most iconic and beloved creatures". Visitors are able to choose between either a farmer-led trailer tour out into the fields to meet the cows or a self-guided walking safari.
Other services offered by the farm include Farm Toddler educational experiences, designed specifically for caregivers and young children to give them the opportunity to feed a variety of its animals. Kersheugh Farm is home to around 1,000 sheep and 250 cows, as well as goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more.
