Now, Haines (formerly Alexis Neiers), along with former associate Nick Norgo (formerly Nick Prugo), attempts to set the record straight in the Netflix documentary series “The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist.” The three-episode series sheds little light, and bulks out its running time with idle musings on fame that feel warmed over from the early 2010s. It’s not that Haines’ and Norgo’s stories, told with both respective parties’ permission in this doc, don’t have inherent interest: Both of them became entranced by the concept of celebrity and, as part of the “bling ring” cabal, stole cash and belongings from the homes of famous people, including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Orlando Bloom. A source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "She has no interest in reliving this after all these years.

Audrina Patridge became one of several high-profile celebrities whose homes were robbed by a group of high school teens, the former star is speaking out about the burglaries in the Netflix docuseries . “It was like they went shopping in my closet,” Patridge says. “After my house was broken into, I was the most terrified I’ve ever been in my entire life.”And she’s not the only one to speak out, as Alexis Haines nee Neiers and Nick Norgo nee Prugo, two of the central figures in what became known as the “Bling Ring” at the time, open up about the truth behind the robberies for the first time on camera. After both served jail time and saw their story retold onscreen by director Sofia Coppola, the two are speaking out -- and recounting their own version of events, detailing how the robberies started with unlocked cars outside of house parties before escalating to celebrity home break-ins that involved stealing jewelry, clothes and other items worth thousands of dollars. “I’ve always been the kind of person to do whatever I had to get what I wanted. Michaela Zee editor Legendary jazz musician Ramsey Lewis, known for hits such as “The In Crowd” and “Wade in the Water,” died Monday morning at his home in Chicago. He was 87. Lewis recorded over 80 albums in his career, during which he received five gold records and three Grammy Awards. The jazz pianist and composer’s death was announced in a post on the official Ramsey Lewis Facebook page, stating that he “died peacefully” with no cause of death mentioned at this time. In the notice, a quote from his wife Janet Lewis read, “Ramsey’s passion for music was truly fueled by the love and dedication of his fans across the globe. He loved touring and meeting music lovers from so many cultures and walks of life. It was our family’s great pleasure to share Ramsey in this special way with all those who admired his God-given talents. We are forever grateful for your support.”
