EXCLUSIVE: Mark Mylod, coming off his Outstanding Drama Directing Emmy win for HBO’s Succession, is headed to another HBO drama series tipped to succeed Succession as an Emmy juggernaut, The Last Of Us.
Mylod is one of four new directors to board the post-apocalyptic zombie drama series, along with Nina Lopez-Corrado (Perry Mason), Stephen Williams (Watchmen) and Kate Herron (Loki). They join returning directors Peter Hoar, who was Emmy nominated for helming Season 1’s poignant Episode 3, “Long, Long Time,” as well as The Last Of Us co-creators, executive producers and showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann who will once again take on directing duties too. It is unclear whether any of the seven helmers will direct multiple episodes; Season 1 consisted of nine episodes helmed by seven directors.
Mylod won the 2023 drama directing Emmy for the acclaimed Episode 3, “Connor’s Wedding” from Succession’s fourth and final season. Mylod directed four Season 4 episodes, including the premiere and the series finale. He also served as an executive producer on Succession for its run, sharing in the series’ three Outstanding Drama Series Emmy wins. His directing credits also include HBO’s Game Of Thrones and Entourage and Showtime’s Shameless.
Williams received a directing Emmy nomination for HBO’s Watchmen and shared in the show’s Outstanding Limited Series win in his role as a producer. His directing resume also includes HBO’s Westworld, Showtime’s Ray Donovan and ABC’s Lost.
Lopez-Corrado received an Imagen Foundation Award nomination for her directing work on HBO’s Perry Mason. At HBO, she also directed two episodes of The Nevers. Lopez-Corrado’s list of credits also include ABC’s A Million Little Things, on which she

GOT7‘s BamBam recently opened up about a fight he had with bandmate Mark Tuan which resulted in a MacBook being thrown at him.Mark Tuan recently made a guest appearance on his GOT7 bandmate’s online talk show, Bam House. During their time on the programme, the K-pop idols reminisced about the group’s early days and one incident where Tuan ended up throwing a MacBook at BamBam.During the episode, BamBam explained that he and Mark had “fought a lot” during the early days of their career. “Whenever Mark and I fought, there were a lot of things that made me think, ‘Wow, he must be better off than I think’,” he said.“You know the old MacBooks are valuable right? From the 2010s? He got angry and threw his MacBook at me,” BamBam added.

The Last Dinner Party have announced a UK and Ireland tour for 2024 – check out the details below.The British baroque-pop group will be playing 16 dates this autumn, including their biggest headline show to date at London’s Eventim Apollo in October.The tour will kick off at O2 City Hall in Newcastle on September 23, followed by dates in Leeds, Norwich, Birmingham, Dublin and more, before they wrap up in London on October 16.The tour will follow the band’s lengthy run of European and North American dates this year in support of debut album ‘Prelude To Ecstasy’ (out February 2).Fans can pre-order the album before 5pm GMT next Tuesday (February 6) to access a pre-sale code for the tour. In a new interview with the New Yorker, it’s revealed for the first time that Coppola had cast Oscar nominee Florence Pugh to star in the lead role of Undine Spragg, a Midwestern girl who attempts to ascend in New York City society. News broke in May 2020 that Sofia Coppola was partnering with Apple TV+ on “The Custom of the Country.” By the end of 2021, the project was killed.
