Graham Phillips is back on stage, this time taking on an iconic role in a Stephen Sondheim musical!
The 29-year-old actor is taking on the lead role in Sunday in the Park with George and he celebrated at the opening night performance on Sunday (February 19) at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, Calif.
Graham was joined by co-star Krystina Alabado, who is taking on the role of Dot.
The Los Angeles Times notes, “Pasadena Playhouse has pulled out all the stops for Sunday In the Park With George, the first main-stage offering of the festival. Directed by Sarna Lapine, this sumptuous production boasts a full orchestra under the music direction of Broadway veteran Andy Einhorn and an extensive (and no doubt murderously expensive) cast.”
Some of the celebs in attendance for the opening included Rosie O’Donnell, Anna Camp, Alfred Molina, Once Upon a Time‘s Lana Parrilla, Young Sheldon‘s Iain Armitage, Sex/Life‘s Jonathan Sadowski, and Broadway star Carmen Cusack.
