The four foods the Royal Family are banned from eating - but are often broken

Many believe that the Royal Family can eat whatever they fancy, given their status.
But according to former Royal staff and King Charles and Queen Camilla themselves, there are four foods that they never eat and some of the reasons why might surprise you.
One forbidden food is banned because it could potentially make them ill while they're carrying out their Royal duties.
However, some royals have been known to break this rule occasionally reports the Mirror.
The risk of food poisoning from shellfish is too high for the royals to regularly consume, whether they're abroad on an official tour or at one of their daily engagements.
As reported in The Express, former Royal butler Grant Harrold explained exactly why this rule exists.
"When dining, the Royal Family has to be careful with shellfish due to shellfish poisoning, due to their work schedules. It is a very sensible move to abandon having seafood when out and about on public duties. We don't want a member of the Royal Family having a serious reaction to food poisoning. Especially if [they] are on an overseas tour. Therefore you will not normally find this on the royal menu."
However, rules are made to be broken, and Charles and Kate have both been seen bending this one on occasion as they go about their work.
Back in 2013, Charles couldn't resist and helped himself to an oyster or two when visiting the Whitstable Oyster Festival and Camilla was on hand with a napkin in case the snack hadn't been separated from its shell properly and things got a bit messy.
Kate, when visiting the Bahamas in 2022 tried out a local delicacy: a conch pistol - which is, according to The Express "commonly said to be a male sea snail's genitalia".
However, for the most part, the royals tend to
