'The Flash' Showrunner is Teasing the Final Season

We’re less than one month away from the premiere of The Crown season five and Netflix has dropped a lot of details about the 2022 season.

The fourth and final season of CBC drama “Diggstown” is right around the corner, and on Tuesday, Oct. 11 a new trailer for the upcoming season dropped to bring viewers a first look at how the journey of crusading lawyer Marcie Diggs (Vinessa Antoine) will conclude.

“Star Trek: Picard” premiered at New York Comic-Con ahead of its release on Paramount+ this coming February. The entire “TNG” cast was on-hand at NYCC to present the teaser, including Patrick Stewart, Gates McFadden, Jonathan Frakes, Mariana Sirtis, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn and Brent Spiner. The final season will see the Enterprise-D crew, along with “Star Trek: Voyager” alum Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) take on enemies from their past.

Based on Philip Pullman‘s novel trilogy of the same name, “His Dark Materials” is one of TV’s best current fantasy dramas. In the show, two teens, Lyra and Will, search for missing friends and relatives in a multi-world reality full of witches, daemons, and prophecies.

After just one season, Peacock canceled its Queer as Folk reboot.The show followed a group of queer friends moving forward after a shooting at a queer bar in New Orleans. It premiered on June 9 and ran for eight episodes.Stephen Dunn, who created the new show, announced the cancellation on Instagram Friday.“It’s a rare gift in these times, and in this country, to be able to make a show as fearless and unapologetic as Queer As Folk,” Dunn wrote.

ET's Deidre Behar spoke to the Emmy-winner at the  event Wednesday, where she talked season 2 and the guest stars set to make an appearance.«I think you can be excited about — some guest stars were announced, Leslie (Odom Jr.) Kayla (Monterroso Mejia), Lauren Weedman, who made her debut tonight, but there are also some other ones who people do not know about, and I am so excited for them,» Brunson shared.While Brunson couldn't say who those guest stars are, she did share that they are just as exciting as season 2's premiere episode cameo from Philadelphia Flyers mascot, Gritty.«I think they are people who are exciting to me, and obscure and odd and weird, and I can't wait for people to be surprised by them,» she teased.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The “Queer as Folk” reboot has been canceled after one season at Peacock, Variety has learned. The entire first season of the show was released on the streamer on June 9. It originally received a straight-to-series order at Peacock in April 2021. The show followed a group of friends in New Orleans who must deal with the aftermath of a shooting at a queer nightclub. The cast included Fin Argus, CG, Jesse James Keitel, Ryan O’Connell, Johnny Sibilly, Devin Way, and Kim Cattrall, among others. Stephen Dunn created the series and served as an executive producer along with Jaclyn Moore, Lee Eisenberg, Emily Brecht, original series creator Russell T. Davies, Nicola Shindler, and Richard Halliwell on behalf of NENT Studios UK, which distributes the format. UCP is the studio.
