Byron Allen Presents theGrio Awards special, honoring African American excellence, is returning to CBS for its second year. Co-hosted by The Talk‘s Sheryl Underwood and comedian Roy Wood, with honorees including Mariah Carey, Don Cheadle and Misty Copeland, the event will air on Saturday, November 25 from 8-10 PM on CBS and will stream live on Paramount+.

Depeche Mode appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Friday night (October 27) – check out their performance of ‘Wagging Tongue’ below.The band stopped by the studio while on their current North American tour to give the song a live airing. Gene Maddaus Senior Media Writer Joel Fields, the showrunner of “The Americans,” blasted the Writers Guild of America on Wednesday for failing to issue a statement condemning the Hamas attack on Israel. “The Writers Guild has failed us deeply,” Fields said. “For an organization that constantly puts out statements to make sure that it’s on the right side of history, it has sadly issued its statements through its silence.” Fields was speaking on a panel at Variety’s Hollywood & Antisemitism Summit, presented by The Margaret & Daniel Loeb Foundation and Shine A Light.

The Office showrunner Greg Daniels has responded to reports that a revival of the US sitcom is in development.Last month, a Puck News report claimed a reboot of the series would be announced when the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike came to an end. No announcement has been made, however, following the strike’s conclusion on September 27.Speaking to Collider about the report, show co-creator and executive producer, Greg Daniels, neither confirmed or denied the rumours.“Well, I think that it’s very speculative,” Daniels said.

Prime Video unveiled the full voice cast at New York Comic Con on Saturday, along with a teaser of an original song called “Happy Day in Hell.” Season 1 series regulars include Beatriz as Vaggie, David as Husk, Glenn as Niffty, Erika Henningsen as Charlie, Alex Brightman as Sir Pentious, Blake Roman as Angel Dust, Amir Talai as Alastor, with Christian Borle and Joel Perez rounding out the voice ensemble as demons of Hell, Vox and Valentino, respectively.

The scheduling strategy was set to be announced on Saturday at the New York Comic-Con, where Fox is holding panels for both “Grimsburg” and its most recent new animated comedy, the Dan Harmon-created “Krapopolis.” At the event, “Grimsburg” showrunner Chadd Gindin planned to discuss his new series and introduce an early screening of the show’s first episode. Both “Grimsburg” and “Krapopolis” are produced by Bento Box and are wholly owned by Fox.

Brian Steinberg Senior TV Editor Sarah Silverman and Leslie Jones will each get another crack at guest-hosting Comedy Central‘s “Daily Show” as the network continues a protracted search for a replacement for Trevor Noah behind the desk of the venerable late-night mainstay. Executives at the network intend to put the program back into production starting Monday, October 16, and will continue to rely on guests as they have since Noah departed late last year. Like other late-night shows, “Daily” has been dark for weeks, owing to the Hollywood writers’ strike.
