‘The Crown’ Will Not Film Princess Diana’s Fatal Car Crash

Still dealing with the repercussions of the most difficult day…

Close friends of the late Princess Diana have slammed The Crown as the Netflix show plans to depict the moments leading up to her death.

An 83-year-old woman has died following a road crash at Blackford on Sunday. At around 8.40pm, an 89-year-old man was driving a Suzuki SX4 on the A9 at its junction with the B8081 at Blackford, when it was involved in a collision with an Audi A4 being driven by a 31-year-old woman. Police and Ambulance attended however the 83-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Suzuki, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 89-year-old driver and his 54-year-old male passenger were uninjured. The driver of the Audi was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

It’s been a minute since “The Crown” season four, two years to be exact, which was almost an entire pandemic ago, but Peter Morgan’s acclaimed Netflix series finally returns in November. Netflix’s "The Crown" has released new photos for season five of the hit series, which included a first look of the new cast.  The fifth season will star Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Dominic West as Prince Charles and Debicki as Princess Diana. Olivia Williams joins them as Camilla Parker Bowles, and Jonny Lee Miller will appear as Prime Minister John Major.
