A wildfire in Texas has burned through 200,000 acres of land in just one day, making it the sixth biggest fire in the state's history. The huge fire started near Smokehouse Creek on Monday afternoon and has since doubled in size, says the Texas AandM Forest Service.
The fire has caused 13 school districts to close because of strong winds and unusually warm, dry weather.
On Tuesday afternoon, people living in Hemphill and Roberts counties were told to leave their homes as the fire got closer. The fire is moving so quickly that it's burning an area the size of a football pitch every second.

Other fires have also led to warnings for people to leave their homes in parts of Fritch, Moore, and Hutchinson counties. This affects about 100 people, according to Tommy Brooks from Moore County Emergency Management.
Experts say a cold front expected to arrive on Tuesday night could make things worse. It could cause the strong winds to change direction, which might make the fire split and threaten more areas.
A storm on Tuesday night has put over 11 million people in south-central America on high alert. Strong winds, very dry conditions, and unusual warmth have created the perfect conditions for fires. Texas and Oklahoma are at the highest risk of fire.
On Monday, Texas was hit by 13 wildfires that burned through at least 77,135 acres, says the Forest Service. The most damage was caused by four fires in the Texas Panhandle. These are the Smokehouse Creek, Grape Vine Creek, Windy Deuce and Juliet Pass fires. All four were still burning on Tuesday, with firefighters finding it hard to control them.
Right now, the Smokehouse Creek fire is not under control at all. The
