Caroline Brew editor To celebrate the life of Matthew Perry, who died on Saturday at the age of 54, TBS will host a weeklong “Friends” marathon dedicated to Perry’s beloved Chandler Bing. The marathon will include special tributes showcasing what Perry and Chandler — who was ranked as the best “Friends” character and second funniest character of all time — meant to the show’s fans. The “Best of Chandler” marathon will begin on Nov.
1, highlighting Chandler’s most hilarious and heartwarming episodes. The marathon will continue with episodes focused on Chandler and Joey’s friendship on Nov. 2 and then spotlight episodes featuring Monica and Chandler’s relationship on Nov.
3. Encores of the marathons will continue over the weekend through Nov. 5.
Other channels and streaming services where “Friends” can be watched have also honored Perry. Max has added a tribute card appearing at the start of each season, and Nick at Nite aired “Matthew Perry: Thanks for Being a Friend” on Oct. 29.
