Fans can’t help but notice the a coincidence about the date Taylor Swift chose to release her upcoming 10th studio album.
The 32-year-old singer just announced that her upcoming album Midnights is going to be released on October 21, which just so happens to be Kim Kardashian‘s birthday.
A social media conversation on the topic immediately began after Taylor made the album announcement.

Taylor and Kim‘s feud began in February 2016 after Kanye West dropped his song “Famous,” which included the lyrics “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”
After the release of the song, Kanye claimed that he got Taylor‘s blessing for the track and her team denied this, saying that she was not made aware of the lyric, “I made that bitch famous.’”
Then, in July 2016, Kim took to her Snapchat account to release videos of Kanye‘s phone call with Taylor, in which he read her the lyrics to the song. Taylor then released a statement noting that he never told her that “he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song.’” Kim also called Taylor a “snake” in social media posts.
One year later, Taylor reclaimed the “snake” term while releasing her album Reputation.
So, is the release date purely a coincidence or is Taylor adding more fuel to the feud? We’ll probably never know, but read what fans are saying below.
