Taylor Swift joins billionaire club following success of Era's Tour as she tops Forbes' rich list

American superstar singer, Taylor Swift, has joined the billionaire club. The 34-year-old's earnings have surpassed $1.1 billion dollars (£875 million), thanks to her successful 'Eras Tour' and her well-regarded music assortment, Forbes magazine reports.
"Swift is the first musician to hit 10-figure status solely based on her songs and performances," says Forbes.
Rihanna also made it to the list due to her cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty, while Jay-Z, Beyonce's husband and rapper, made history in 2019 as hip-hop's first billionaire based on his fine art collection, music and shares in companies and drinks brands.

Forbes predicts that Swift's wealth comes from roughly $500 million (£398 million) in royalties and touring revenues and a similar amount from her musical works, with an extra $125 million (£99 million) from her property collection.
Luxurious French brand LVMH owner Bernard Arnault is said to be the world's richest person, sitting at around $233 billion (£185 billion).
Ranking second on Forbes' list is Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, estimated at $195 billion (£155 billion), with Amazon boss Jeff Bezos coming third.
Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is fourth while the top five is completed by Oracle software's cofounder Larry Ellison.
After her recent music shows that started in March 2023, Swift became the first artist to earn over a billion dollars (£800 million), setting a new Guinness World Record for the highest-earning music tour.
The concert film, based on her tour, also made Vue International's top ticket sales at the UK and Ireland box office on its first day.
In 2023, she also became the best-selling global
