The “Shake It Off” hitmaker and Twilight actor were briefly an item in 2009, and fans think that she’s singing about him on “Back to December.”

During an interview with TODAY.com, Lautner had good things to say about the album. However, he was worried about another celeb.
“I think it’s a great album,” he said, adding, “Yeah, I feel safe.”
On the other hand, he’s “praying for John.”
That’s thought to be a reference to John Mayer, who seemingly inspired Swift‘s song “Dear John.”
Unlike “Back to December,” where Swift issues an apology to her ex, “Dear John” is much more pointed.
Lautner opened up about his relationship with Swift back in 2016, letting fans know that he listens to her music. He also weighed in on one of Swift‘s most shocking moments during a recent podcast episode.
Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) arrives on July 7.
