Sylvester Stallone Reveals How Polo Played A Part in Him Becoming Part of Taylor Sheridan's 'Tulsa King'

Taylor Kitsch’s Hollywood career is full of highs and lows. He started as the star of Peter Berg’s “Friday Night Lights” series on NBC and a teen heartthrob in 2006’s “Josh Tucker Must Die.” But his venture into blockbusters didn’t go well, as 2012’s “John Carter” floundered with critics and audiences alike.

Taylor Sheridan is taking on showrunning duties on his Paramount+ series Lioness, Deadline has confirmed.

Sylvester Stallone is getting a taste of the gangster life in Paramount+'s upcoming crime drama, . The series follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.

Dana Delany (Body of Proof) will join Sylvester Stallone in the new original series Tulsa King for Paramount+.
