 is a heady tale of a young woman's obsession with a fictional pop star and how that evolves into a dark road trip with unpredictable encounters. But according to star Chlöe Bailey, it's more a tale of sisterhood than anything else.From co-creators and executive producers Janine Nabers and Donald Glover,  follows Dre (Dominique Fishback), a young woman obsessed with the fictional pop star Ni'Jah, whose body of work and art style are very similar to Beyoncé's. Set between 2016 and 2018, the series follows Dre as her fandom takes her to dark, unexpected places, which begins after a tragic incident involving her sister Marissa (Bailey) and Marissa's boyfriend, Khalid.

Donald Glover and showrunner Janine Nabers, follows Andrea Green (Dominique Fishback), a young woman whose obsession with one of the world's biggest pop stars, a Houston, Texas-born singer named Ni’jah, and an unexpected trauma in her life sets her on a dark, twisted journey across the country. Inspired by the Beyhive and fans' relationships with the likes of Beyoncé, the Prime Video series is a captivating (and at times, disturbing) character study that parallels and as it tells the origin story of an anti-hero, who is unlike ones previously seen on TV. While speaking to ET, Nabers addresses whether is a critique of stans, what it was like getting to create a new kind of character for TV, and what Fishback, who is known for  and, brought to the role that surely will leave people screaming at their screens.    This story is 100 percent taken from real events and real internet rumors and real other things, true crimes that have happened between the years of 2016 and 2018.
