On Feb. 11, 2012, the world lost legendary performer Whitney Houston.  Just shy of the 11th anniversary of her death, fans will be reintroduced to Houston through her frequent collaborator and producer Clive Davis, who, along with several others, is releasing a biopic of the star, "I Wanna Dance with Somebody." Davis told Fox News Digital, "Up to now, nobody has touched the real person of Whitney."  He was critical of previous projects that tried to tell Houston's story, saying "They've only – depending on their prejudice – it's been the downfall.

California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's reelection campaign put up a billboard in Austin, Texas, promoting his state's abortion access for women. The billboard, placed just south of Stassney Lane in South Austin, features a woman sitting with her arms crossed over her knees looking toward a pro-abortion message that reads, "Need an abortion? The city of Houston held its second gun buyback event Saturday morning and officials believe the turnout made history. Hundreds of cars lined up at the city's Westchase Metro Park and Ride to participate in the program, which is part of Mayor Sylvester Turner's OneSafe Houston initiative. A few hours after the event was over, the mayor's office announced 1,208 guns were turned in on Saturday in exchange for a gift card, which is about 400 more than the 845 collected during Houston's first buyback in July.

Meet Benson, a three-year-old pup from Houston who is looking for a forever home.  Benson, thought to be a mix of a retriever and a Catahoula, is one of the many dogs up for adoption right now at Best Friends in Houston.  The adorable dog came to the program through a shelter in Houston called Harris County Pets, one of the animal intake shelters in the area.  Benson is great with people and with other dogs. He's eager to find his forever home.

A federal appeals court ordered a review of new changes by the Biden administration to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. The decision was made by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday, which said that a Texas federal judge needs to review the program after several changes were made by the Biden administration in August.

After receiving surgery and treatment at Yale University’s medical center, the condition was safely resolved. In March, Bradshaw’s doctors discovered a Merkel cell tumor in his neck, “a rare form of skin cancer,” which was then also addressed with another surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
