Wild Bunch will be distributing the film in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. Glasner credits include Golden Bear nominees “Gnade” (2012) and “Der Freie Wille” (2006).

The new Netflix series The Gentlemen from Guy Ritchie has its debut trailer.

As we recently noted, it’s time to move over Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg (and maybe even Steven Soderbergh) because if not the hardest-working man in film showbiz, director Guy Ritchie might be the fastest-moving director in showbiz. Ritchie just announced a new movie, “The Fountain Of Youth,” with Natalie Portman and John Krasinski, but it’s possible he may release two other films in 2024.

Valerie Wu Intern “The Gentlemen,” Netflix’s TV series follow-up to Guy Ritchie’s 2019 British gangster film, has released a trailer. Set in the world of the original, the new series features a cast of new characters, including Theo James as the Duke of Halstead, Ray Winstone as cannabis empire founder Bobby Glass and Kaya Scodelario as Bobby’s daughter and the empire’s operations leader. Guy Ritchie serves as creator, co-writer, executive producer (the latter two positions shared with Matthew Read) and directs the first two episodes.

Showbiz 411, the E-street band leader, 74, was allegedly hired by “Black Mass” director Scott Cooper, who is also known for his 2009 film “Crazy Heart” starring Jeff Bridges. Springsteen’s sixth studio album was lauded as an introspective turn for the “Born To Run” belter, turning a bout of depression into artistic inspiration.As the story goes, the New Jersey-born musician intended to rerecord the raw, emotional demo tracks that would comprise the forthcoming “Nebraska,” but eventually decided to release the songs as they were. The stripped-down album is also said to have given rise to Springsteen’s 1984 hit, “Born in the USA.”Little is known about the upcoming film aside from the fact that Cooper, 53, is slated to direct.

Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon” is on Netflix now, and obviously, it’s a divisive film with a 22% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Our review wasn’t pretty blunt about it, too, calling it “lifeless and superficial,” but it’s still fascinating that Netflix went all in on it, and a sequel, “Rebel Moon: The Scargiver,” is coming in April 2024 (read our review here; check out our 2024 blockbuster preview here).
