(Reuters) - Canadian pop singer Celine Dion announced on Friday that she was canceling the European stretch of her world tour, scheduled to resume this summer, due to a medical condition that makes it difficult for her to perform. The announcement comes four months after the 55-year-old Quebecoise singer said she was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called stiff-person syndrome that causes muscle spasms.

Pop-punk band Sum 41 have announced they're splitting up after 27 years as a band. The group, fronted by Deryck Whibley, announced on social media today the group will be going their separate ways after an upcoming album release and farewell tour. The band first formed in 1996, but has become synonymous with the pop-punk movement of the late 90s and early 00s.
