Sue Radford has opened up about the "nastiness" she's experienced on social media in her new book The Radfords: Making Life Count, which she has penned with her husband Noel. The parents-of-22 shot to fame in recent years following their reality series 22 Kids and Counting, but as many celebs have discovered, the fame comes with some cruel trolling online. Addressing this in the new book, Sue recalled how she's often trolled over her family's jet-setting lifestyle.
Defending this, Sue argued she and Noel have worked hard for their success. She wrote: "We don't claim benefits, the pie company is very successful and so is our media business. We work hard but we're not millionaires! "The nastiness is upsetting though.
We just want to be able to give our children the best possible life." This isn't the only time Sue has spoken out about the trolling her family have received, recently sharing that she was left upset when cruel online comments 'ruined' her daughter Ellie's 18th birthday celebrations. In May last year, the proud mum shared a photo of daughter Ellie glammed up as she got ready to head out on her 18th birthday.
The teen looked stunning in a white mini dress and glittery heels, along with a pink birthday sash. While many fans flocked to compliment Ellie, with some even comparing her to Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham, others were less complimentary.
Online trolls began commenting on Ellie's weight and body image, leaving the teen understandably devastated on her milestone birthday Speaking to The Sun about this, Noel said: "It’s upsetting. Ellie’s 18th is a special moment and she is only 18 once, and it ruined it for her. You can have a thousand positive comments but it takes one or two to ruin
