Subway has announced a major revamp to its loyalty scheme that could lead to members losing their hard earned points if they don't act soon.
At the moment, Subway Rewards members can 10 loyalty points for every pound spent if their card is registered, and five loyalty points if it is not registered. Its terms and conditions state that members can earn up to 5,000 points per time.
However, that is set to change, after the popular high street sandwich chain confirmed in an email to its members that it would be shaking up the scheme to offer "bigger rewards" and "surprise treats". The current scheme is set to be closed on May 14, meaning any points you have earned will be unredeemable after then.
As reported by The Mirror, the email read: "We're having a makeover, with a new levelling system, bigger rewards and surprise treats, the more you spend the better it gets. You have until May 14, 2024 to continue to make use of the current Subway Rewards benefits and offers."

A Subway spokesperson has confirmed that the deadline for the current scheme will be midnight on May 14. However, the new scheme is set to debut the very next day, May 15, with a more "personalised" and "unique" loyalty experience.
A spokesperson for Subway said: "We value the loyalty of our guests and we’re excited that our new Subway Rewards programme will offer them a more personalised and unique loyalty experience. As points from our previous rewards system won't
