Former Strictly contestant Seann Walsh has revealed he's to become a dad in a social media video. The comedian, who has been dating dance teacher Grace Adderely since 2019, announced the news during an Instagram Live with a friend, which was first reported by The Sun.
"I’m having a child," he said. His friend then asked: "So you’re gonna be a dad?" To which Seann confirmed: "Yeah", before his friend jokingly replied: "That’s worrying." Seann then told his followers: "Unbelievable.
Everyone else has been really nice, that’s the worst response yet." This prompted his pal to joke: “You’re going to have a lot more worries." While Seann added: “That’s the one thing I need in life actually, I don’t think I’ve had enough worries.” This news comes after rumours Seann, who was involved in a scandal with his Strictly partner Katya Jones when they were spotted kissing back in 2018, will be appearing in the forthcoming series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! A source said of his rumoured stint in the Australian jungle: "Seann is an incredible signing for I’m A Celebrity and it’s a real coup for ITV.” Other stars said to be taking part on this year's ITV challenge show hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are radio presenter Chris Moyles, Culture Club singer Boy George and Love Island's Olivia Attwood. Seann is currently on tour with his stand up set, travelling across the UK, while keeping his followers up to date on his shows.
The star has returned to comedy after his stint on Strictly Come Dancing four years ago. He previously admitted he's unable to watch the BBC dance competition show because it "messes my head up" following the scandal around him and Katya at the time.
