Strictly's Zara McDermott and dance partner Graziano argue over 'huge Italian issue'

Zara McDermott and dance partner Graziano Di Prima, have been getting on like a house on fire. But their relationship now appears to have hit a bump in the road – and it's all because of a bowl of pasta. Taking to Instagram Stories, former Love Island star Zara made demands for different types of pasta.
But Italian dancer Graziano was left unimpressed when she declared that she would like some carbonara – with the addition of cream. Zara, who is loved-up with boyfriend-of-five-years Sam Thompson, and 29-year-old Graziano could be seen sitting side by side in the video, while a filter gave them warped faces. Zara asked: “Can I have some penne pasta? Some linguine? Can I have a carbonara? With cream?” Obviously shocked by the suggestion of adding cream to a carbonara pasta sauce, which is traditionally made with just eggs and cheese, Graziano hit back: “You prepare a meal for me.
Right? And you say ‘I’m going to prepare it for you like Italian flavour’. You put the cream in the carbonara. Let me prepare my recipe.” The Strictly Come Dancing pro went on the compare the situation to how Brits would be horrified if someone added barbecue sauce to a Sunday roast.
But Zara insisted: “I wouldn’t be as angry as you, though.
This is the thing. You don’t… You guys get so offended about the cream in the carbonara.” Zara, 26, added that "some people just want a bit of cream in it. People want a bit more sauce".
But Graziano said the only way to create more sauce would be to add “more pecorino and egg yolk”. Former government policy advisor Zara teased: “I don’t know if we have pecorino in Sainsbury’s.
