Layton Williams left fans amazed on Saturday night's Strictly Come Dancing with his latest performance during Movie Week.
The musical theatre star, 29, dressed in a pink shirt and long skirt to play Sandy in Grease while his professional partner Nikita Kuzmin played Danny.
They danced a Viennese Waltz to There Are Worse Things I Could Do from Grease, getting a score of 28 from judges Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood. He received mixed comments, with Craig telling him he gave the dance "too much attack" while Anton gave Layton a dance masterclass on one aspect of the dance.
But fans were delighted by the dance, taking to Twitter to praise Layton, with one saying: "I try and stay clear of here but Layton you are a hero for dancing in drag." Another added: "Layton looked incredible! Enough said x". A separate person joked: "Forgot it is movie week and got jump scared by the terrible costumes, at least Layton looks cute." Someone else penned that their dance had left them emotional, writing: "Dear Lord.
What are Layton and Nikita trying to do to us??? My heart." It comes after Layton said he has faced “low key trolling” that he has found “overwhelming” during his time on Strictly so far. Last Sunday, a day after Layton and professional dance partner Nikita received four nines from the judges on the BBC show, he revealed that he had been getting mixed messages from the public.
Writing on social media platform, X, formerly known as Twitter, Layton said: “The messages of love are overwhelming but as is the low key trolling. “I’m just here to have fun like all the other contestants.
