Two mums flew to Ibiza for 10 hours after bagging return flights for £37 - and say it was cheaper than a day trip to London.
Clare Jeffs, 36, and Hannah Brown, 38, fancied a day out and decided to hop on a plane to the sunny island on March 30.
The duo caught an EasyJet flight from Manchester airport at 3am before touching down at 9am.
The pals then spent the day exploring the Old Town, having brunch and sunbathing on the beach before heading back to the airport to catch a 9pm flight back to Manchester.
Clare and Hannah got back home to Stockport, Greater Manchester, at midnight with plenty of time left to wake their kids up the next morning. Clare, a complaints advisor, said: "I had a baby last year.
"I haven't spent a day away from her since she was born. She has some medical issues, so I didn't really want to take her on holiday. I assumed I wouldn't be abroad for a good few years.
"So, I went to look for a trip out in England - London or something. But the flights were cheaper to go to Ibiza for the day. I said to Hannah - 'I think I'm going do something absolutely crazy and go to Ibiza for the day' and she said 'take me'. I knew she would."
Hannah, a marketer, found someone to care for her twins - Charlotte and Sophie, nine - and Clare asked her husband, Sam, 32, to look after their 11-month-old daughter, Daisy.
Clare said: "I waited for my husband to come back to ask if that is OK because he would have to book the day off to look after Daisy. He said yes - so we booked it straight away."
The friends jetted off on the two-hour-and-50-minute flight to Old Town, Ibiza, and explored the area before ending the day on the beach. Clare said: "The flight was for 5.45am and was all on time.
"When we got there, we picked up a hire car

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Robert Downey Jr. and Jimmy Fallon crashed a recent episode of “The Howard Stern Show” and revealed they auditioned together for Nancy Meyers’ 2006 romantic-comedy “The Holiday.” Downey Jr. read for the part later played by Jude Law, while Fallon auditioned for Jack Black’s role. Both actors knew they weren’t Meyers’ frontrunner picks at the time, and Downey Jr. was well aware Jude Law was stiff competition. “We both got called in just as seat fillers…[director Nancy Meyers] needed someone to read with the gals and we’re sitting there going, ‘It’s about to happen for us,’” Downey said, adding that he felt he was a “shoe-in” to steal the part away from Law. “And I was like, ‘I’ve got to have a better English accent than Jude Law at this point.’ And Winslet said, ‘That was the worst British accent I’ve ever heard.’ And I was like, ‘I’ll check out now, but I’m taking the gummy bears from the minibar.'”

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Saoirse Ronan revealed last September to People magazine that she tried and failed to film a cameo in the upcoming “Barbie” movie, which is directed by her “Lady Bird” and “Little Women” filmmaker Greta Gerwig. It turns out Gerwig eyed even more “Barbie” cameos, including one that would’ve reunited her and Ronan with Timothée Chalamet. The Oscar nominee also appeared in “Lady Bird” and “Little Women.” “Well, it was always going to have to be like a sort of smaller thing because she was actually producing at the time, which I am so proud of her for,” Gerwig said of having to scrap Ronan’s cameo. “And of course, it’s brilliant. But it was going to be a specialty cameo. I was also going to do a specialty cameo with Timmy, and both of them couldn’t do it, and I was so annoyed. But I love them so much. But it felt like doing something without my children. I mean, I’m not their mom, but I sort of feel like their mom.”

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Is it heresy to say that one of the greatest albums of all time just got a little bit better, 57 years after the fact? Possibly, but it doesn’t feel like too strong a statement to make after hearing the just-released Dolby Atmos mix of the Beach Boys’ 1966 classic “Pet Sounds,” as played back in one of the most state-of-the-art Dolby rooms in the world. It’s going to sound different under other listening circumstances, of course, whether the spatially immersive mix is being heard in a home with dozens of carefully calibrated speakers or through one of the all-in-one Atmos boxes that are now coming out. But what’s almost certain is that any status Brian Wilson’s masterpiece might’ve had as your own personal pet project is only going to be elevated with a lusher and richer audio interpretation of the work.
