In late 2019 a new Star Wars game was released called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Fallen Order was a dark soul-type single-player story-based game made by EA studios that took place after the events of the Clone Wars. It had the players take control of Cal Kestis, a Jedi padawan who survived the dreaded order 66.
Cal then has to survive being hunted by the Empire and even Darth Vader himself. Now with the news of the sequel Jedi: Survivor that will come out sometime next year fans are wondering what will happen between the two games. Well now fans will not have to guess what happened as a new book will be released on March 7th of next year called Jedi: Battle Scars. This book will bridge the gap between the two games and follow Cal and the Mantis crew on more adventures and show what they were doing after Fallen Order. “Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars will be written by Sam Maggs, who has previously penned books and comics for Marvel and DC, plus video games such as Tiny Tina’s Wonderland and, fittingly, the upcoming Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic remake.” according to Euro Gamers.net.
While there is still no solid release date for Jedi: Survivor an art book for the game was also announced to be released on May 2nd. Fallen Order was such a hit game due to there not being any other Star Wars game like it ever, even more so a single-player game from EA studios. What is next for Cal Kestis though? It has been rumored that he will pop up in a Disney Plus show and maybe even in Andor which is set five years before the events of Rouge One. Cal Kestis also made a camo in one of the latest Star Wars novels Brotherhood.

In the Star Wars universe, it is not an unlikely thing to see a good character turn evil or an evil one turn good. The whole Skywalker saga is about the character of Anakin Skywalker turning from good to evil to back to good. These turns are often total swaps, completely different ends of the scale.
reported Empire Magazine. “It’s just at this point a matter of schedule and when it can happen. I’ve stayed close to Kathleen [Kennedy] and we get together often and talk about it,” Johnson told the publication, referring to the Lucasfilm president. “It would break my heart if I were finished, if I couldn’t get back in that sandbox at some point.”Johnson’s trilogy was announced in 2017 after his “Star Wars” directorial debut and had promised to feature “new characters from a corner of the galaxy that ‘Star Wars’ lore has never before explored,” according to IndieWire, which added that a parallel tagline was echoed by “Thor: Love and Thunder” director Taika Waititi — who is slated to have a “Star Wars” film in 2025.Johnson’s comments track with those made by Kennedy at the Star Wars Celebration earlier this year.
It’s been years since it was announced that Rian Johnson would take on a new “Star Wars” trilogy that was seemingly disconnected from the Skywalker Saga. But since that announcement, all we’ve heard is talk from Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy about how it will still happen eventually and Rian Johnson saying that he would still like to do it.
If you’re a fan of the “Star Wars” franchise, it’s sad to see how the sequel trilogy ended with a thud instead of the bang it deserves. “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” was meant to be this celebratory ending that would make fans cheer and bring to a close a series of films dating back decades.
John Boyega, who was the actor behind the ex-Stormtrooper turned Resistance fighter Finn, has made it known to everyone that his time making the Star Wars sequels was not a good one. Even though Boyega had such a negative experience he is still a big Star Wars fan and keeps up with all the latest projects, most recently talking about the Obi-Wan Kenobi show that streamed on Disney Plus. One of the biggest problems John Boyega had was the lack of meaningful representation throughout the trilogy.
“The Patient,” Gleeson responded enthusiastically, “Of course I would! He was really interesting, and I think there’s a lot I could do more [with him].”However, he continued, “I don’t see them making the call. I’m not sure anybody’s clamoring for a Hux sequel or prequel.
nothing is a match for a good blaster at your side — and it seems he was right. The original gun held by Harrison Ford in the original “Star Wars” film sold for more than $1 million at an auction held over the weekend, reports TMZ.
told Empire. “When I was up at bat, I really swung at the ball.”The “Knives Out” filmmaker added that he crafted “The Last Jedi” as not just a “Star Wars” movie, but a movie about “Star Wars.”“The ultimate intent was not to strip away – the intent was to get to the basic, fundamental power of myth.

John Boyega may not be returning to the world of but he still appreciates seeing the franchise take a step toward changing for the better. Star Wars animated shows have driven the franchise very far for many years. The Clone Wars brings in a now fan-favorite character Ashoka Tano, Rebels leading the way for Kenobi and the Fallen Order series, and the most recent is Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Even though you can trace John Boyega’s real Hollywood breakout back to his role in “Attack the Block,” it wasn’t until he showed up in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” that the actor became a household name. And it’s because Boyega is a fine actor and is one of the best parts of the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy, that fans were shocked and saddened to see his role as Finn keep diminishing with each new film.
Ewan McGregor knows Star Wars fans very well from the rough criticism he got from the prequel movies to the newfound love of the fans that grew up with those movies. One thing McGregor has always said is that Star Wars leaks are bad for the community.
