Stacey Solomon has admitted she is "so nervous" ahead of the first episode of Bake Off: The Professionals on Tuesday night. The Loose Women star, 32, has replaced comedian Tom Allen as co-host and will present alongside former The Great British Bake Off contestant Liam Charles.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the first episode, Stacey admitted she was "so nervous" as viewers can be opinionated at times. Sharing a video, the star said: "Oh my gosh I just got a message from Bake Off, I completely forgot it starts tonight! "I’m so nervous because when you’re on the telly, people let you know if they hate you but if you watch it tonight… hope you enjoy it and I’d love to know what you think." Stacey then joked and politely asked if people think she "shouldn't be on telly", to not tell her as she hit back at any future trolls.The mother-of-four also penned: "OMG I nearly forgot my first ever episode of me presenting @BritishBakeOff Professionals stars tonight I'm so nervous" followed by nervous emojis. She added: "If you watch it I hope you love it, I loved making it so so so much! I can't wait to hear what you think if you see it! Unless you don't like it - then don't tell me" followed with laughing emojis.
It comes after Stacey's new role was confirmed in February on the GBBO’s official Twitter account after she teased that she'd been filming something away from her home.The tweet read: “Choux la la!
