Brazilian club Palmeiras' manager Abel Ferreira has taken aim at Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag after he complained about the Reds' tight schedule resulting in Marcus Rashford's injury on Saturday.
Rashford appeared to suffer a groin injury at the weekend as the Reds beat Everton 2-0 at Old Trafford. When asked about the England international's condition post-match, an unhappy Ten Hag criticised the Premier League for their decision to make the match a 12.30pm kick off on Saturday having played on Wednesday at 8pm.
"I can't say in this moment, you are doctor, maybe?" The Dutchman responded to a question about Rashford. "I am not. We have to wait, how bad or how good it is.

"Obviously he went off with a complaint, now we have to wait, set a diagnosis and we will see. Some things you can't avoid but it was avoidable.
"Why is the Premier League giving us the late Sunday night game (against Newcastle) and giving us the early Saturday game? I think it's not right.
"You run the risk, the players can't recover that quickly, we know all research that players need a certain period to recover and it accumulates. So then you run even more of a risk.
"It's also part of the schedule that we now find ourselves in this situation and now we can only pray he is not dropping off. Not any manager at this stage of the season will rotate so much."
In his post-match press conference following Palmeiras' 4-0 victory over Agua Santa, Ferreira took exception to Ten Hag's complaints insisting that his side have it worse in Brazil. "Football here has fantastic things, but there are others that are not human," he explained.
