There are some major changes coming to Showtime.
Paramount Global announced that Showtime will be integrated into Paramount+ across both streaming and on TV later in 2023.
As a result, the network is also making some big TV programming changes as well, and unfortunately, some shows will not be moving forward. While some series have been canceled, at least one is set to come to an end.

The Television Critics Association revealed its nominations for its 39th Annual TCA Awards with Succession, The Last of Us and The Bear leading the charge. Winners are scheduled to be announced on Monday, August 7.
“Succession” and “The Last of Us” are facing Disney+’s “Andor,” AMC’s “Better Call Saul,” AMC’s “Interview with a Vampire,” Paramount+’s “The Good Fight,” HBO’s “The White Lotus” and Showtime’s “Yellowjackets.” As for individual acting achievements between the two leaders, both Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay were nominated for “The Last of Us,” and Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook and Jeremy Strong were nominated for “Succession.”As for comedies, nomination leader “The Bear” will be facing off against “Abbott Elementary” in Outstanding Achievement in Comedy. The ABC hit took home the top honor last year.

It’s official. Billions will end with its upcoming seventh season. Showtime confirmed Thursday that the seventh season will be the last for the hit drama series, and announced the premiere date. The first episode will stream on Paramount+ with Showtime on Friday, August 11, before making its on-air debut Sunday, August 13 at 8 pm on Showtime. Subsequent episodes will roll out weekly.
Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic In a move certain to shock Los Angeles theatergoers, the Center Theatre Group (CTG) announced Thursday that it is canceling plans for a 2023-34 season at the Mark Taper Forum, one of the most important homes for new plays in the city, if not the country, due to severe financial concerns. The organization’s two other theaters, the Ahmanson and Kirk Douglas Theatres, will continue with their seasons as usual, with 2023-24 programs to be announced shortly, the announcement said. The programming suspension at the 736-seat Mark Taper will begin after a current world premiere musical, “Transparent,” wraps up its run on June 25. Two other shows that had already been announced will have their runs canceled or postponed. The world premiere of “Fake It Until You Make It,” set to begin Aug. 2, is being called off, although the org said “we plan to feature it) in a future season.” Meanwhile, a touring production of “Cambodian Rock Band” set for the Mark Taper has been canceled outright.
