A grieving mum has paid a heart-wrenching tribute to her daughter who died at just five weeks old, calling her a 'perfect baby' who she 'loved so much'. The tragic death of Lily Moister was examined at an inquest held into her death.
A coroner was told Lily's mum, Stephanie Moister, breastfed her at around 11pm on March 13, 2021, before they both fell asleep on a sofa in the front room of their home in Mosley Common, near Worsley. The inquest heard when Stephanie woke up, little Lily was 'unresponsive'.
Advised by paramedics, she carried out CPR which continued at Salford Royal Hospital but sadly, Lily couldn't be saved.

Health professionals at the inquest held at Bolton Coroners Court on Tuesday referenced SUDC - Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood - and 'possible' accidental 'overlying', but pathologists after detailed examinations found the cause of Lily's death as 'unascertained'.
Giving evidence Stephanie, who has five other young children, said: "There wasn't a mark on her body. She was perfect. I looked after her like I did all the others. She was the perfect baby - I loved her so much."
She went on to describe Lily as 'laid back' and 'quiet', saying she 'hardly cried'.
She said Lily made her feel 'super proud. "I did a video that day before she died - you should have heard me," she said. "I was very proud."
Stephanie who had four other girls at the time of Lily's death, added: "I was dead proud. I thought they were like the Spice Girls."
She said Lily would 'sleep brilliantly' and would normally be put down in a Moses basket in the front room, to keep her away from the other children upstairs.
