Shaughna Phillips has candidly discussed being a new mum as she shared a glimpse into her motherhood journey on Instagram. Sharing a photo to her Instagram Story of her mum cuddling newborn daughter Lucia, the former Love Island star, 28, wrote: "I can't wait to talk to you all about my birth story. I had a wild ride lol.
But honestly, it doesn't matter how she got here, what matters is that she's here safe and sound [white heart emoji]. Opening up about being a new mum, Shaughna continued: "I've definitely struggled not being able to do much for Lucia myself because of my recovery. "But the support I've had from family is more than I could ever ask for! My mum often spends the nights burping the baby and consoling me [laughing emoji]." Shaughna welcomed her baby daughter on Tuesday April 4, after being induced on the Sunday prior.
She took to Instagram a couple of days later to share the news with fans. Posting two snaps of herself and Lucia, she penned the caption: "My darling Lucia, I wish I had you sooner so I could love you longer "04/04/23 8lb 8oz 8:10pm" Shaughna has also shared some adorable snaps of her Lucia, as the pair headed out for an Easter Sunday stroll, along with Shaughna's mum. The new mum captioned the post: "Lucia’s first dog walk.
Everything is so scary all of a sudden, cars are too loud, pavements are too bumpy, but we made it my dream girl." The reality star previously shared that went in for her induction on Sunday 2 April after going way over her due date which had been March 25. Writing in her OK! column, Shaughna recently explained she was becoming incredibly frustrated at going over her due date. "I'm now overdue, and I feel like every day past your due date is worse than the whole pregnancy
