Sharna Burgess is slamming the team behind Dancing With the Stars for hiring football player Adrian Peterson to be on the upcoming season.
The 38-year-old running back, who has played for teams like the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins, will dance with pro Britt Stewart.
Adrian was charged with felony child abuse in 2014 and he pleaded no contest. He was also arrested in 2022 on suspicion of domestic violence, but those charges were dropped.
Amid the casting news, fans have expressed their disappointment and Sharna is one of them.

Sharna said on her iHeartRadio podcast Old-ish, “There’s one person that I’d like to share that I’m really shocked is on there is Adrian Peterson, the football player… The man has been charged with child abuse of his four-year-old son in the way that he punishes him and that is just devastating for me. I’m telling you now if I walked into a room and that was my partner, I would turn around and walk right out. There is no way — now being a mother — I would be able to stomach that.”
Earlier this week, Sharna revealed she wasn’t invited back for the new season and she also dropped a bombshell about one of her former partners.
