Drag sensation The Vivienne has shared a touching message with fans on social media, just one day after revealing they had been subjected to a vicious homophobic attack while enjoying a night out in Liverpool. The Vivienne, whose real name is James Lee Williams, first shared details from when they were allegedly “attacked” in a McDonalds on Friday, 16 June, explaining what had happened during the terrifying incident on social media.
A day on from the attack, the Dancing on Ice star, 31, took to Instagram to deliver an update. Captioning a text image from their mum, The Vivienne penned: "Today I thought I’d wake up and it would be like a normal day, but I think in 31 years this one has shook me.
"Then mum sent me this bless her. I haven’t experienced hate like that for years, never mind in the middle of the day.
Done nothing but make me use my voice louder and clearer!" In the heartfelt message, Viv’s mum offered insight into the traumatic experience and addressed concerned fans: “Hi to everyone out there.
