Seven people have been arrested after a crowd gathered outside a Scots home last month in a night of 'large-scale disorder'.
Two people were injured and police cars damaged when around 300 people turned up at a home on Graham Street in Brucehill, Dumbarton, on Tuesday February 28.
Videos of the alleged incident appeared to show fireworks being set off close to homes in the residential street with some objects, including bricks, apparently thrown at officers and the property, while the crowd refused to disperse.
Police at the time said the incident was believed to be as a result of 'inaccurate information circulating online'.
Officers acting under warrant, entered five properties in Clydebank, Glasgow, Port Glasgow, Wishaw and Livingston on Friday.
Police investigating the incident have now confirmed four men aged, 21, 27, 45 and 48 and three women, aged 31, 36 and 43 were arrested and charged with mobbing and rioting.
They are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday March 20.
Detective Inspector Bernadette Walls said: “I would like to thank the local community of Brucehill for their support and co-operation throughout this investigation.
"Crime affects the whole community and can cause fear and alarm, we aim to address these issues. It’s important local residents, workers and visitors to the area feel secure and reassured that they can go about their day-to-day lives free from the fear of violence and antisocial behaviour."
Enquiries are ongoing and additional officers remain in the area to provide reassurance to the local community.

John Hopewell Chief International Correspondent MALAGA, Spain — It’s not over yet. In March 2021, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced the government would plow €1.6 billion ($1.9 billion) into a Spain AVS Hub plan designed to turn Spain into one of the foremost film and TV hubs in Europe. Supported by Spain’s E.U-backed Recuperation, Transformation and Resilience push for post COVID-19 recovery, the Spain AVS Hub plan has been co-financed by part of a €806.9 billion ($866.5 billion) NextGenerationEU stimulus package for the whole of the European Union, which is a temporary instrument. As that package ends, Spain’s government will look to negotiate funding from alternative sources to ensure that Spain AVS Hub initiatives are more than a flash in the pan, a broad cross-section of governmental authorities told an audience Tuesday at a Malaga Spanish Screening Content conference.
