The 50-year-old Luther actor is a passenger on a hijacked airplane told in real-time on a seven hour flight.
Idris stars as Sam Nelson, “an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers.”

Also starring in the thriller is Archie Panjabi who was previously in The Good Wife. She plays a “counterterrorism officer who is on the ground when the plane is hijacked and becomes part of the investigation.”
Idris Elba also serves as executive producer for the series. This is the first series to debut from his first-look deal with Apple TV+ and his Green Door Pictures.
In March, Idris showed off his musical abilities by hopping into the DJ booth in Miami, Florida.
