On paper, the comedic pairing of Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne shouldn’t work nearly as well as it does. However, as was proven in the two “Neighbors” films, these two have incredible chemistry and comedic timing with each other.

According to the show’s official logline, Will and Sylvia’s friendship eventually “becomes all consuming — and destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way.” The 10-episode series will premiere its first three episodes on May 24, with the remaining seven installments dropping Wednesdays until the finale on July 12.

Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogen have been tapped to star in an upcoming comedy film from Aziz Ansari.Announced via the Hollywood Reporter, the film, titled Good Fortune, is set to begin filming next month (May) with plot details currently unknown. Good Fortune is being written and directed by Aziz Ansari, who is best known for the Netflix series Master of None.Ansari will also co-star in the film, though the extent of his role is currently unknown.Good Fortune will be distributed by Lionsgate Films, with studio head Joe Drake saying in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter: “We have indeed found good fortune with this film. We love the script and believe strongly in Aziz as both a performer and a director.

On Monday night, the routine interview between these two late night colleagues was interrupted by several members of Corden’s team asking if there’s room for them at “Late Night With Seth Meyers.” Even bandleader and comedian Reggie Watts got in on the joke. William Earl Ryan Murphy, Damon Lindelof and Erica Huggins will headline the Variety Power of Law Breakfast, presented by City National Bank, on April 20 in Los Angeles. Murphy will present the Variety Power of Law award to his entertainment attorney Craig Emanuel, a partner at Paul Hastings, to honor his extensive philanthropic efforts. Emanuel serves on the boards of non-profit organizations such as March on Washington Film Festival, Black Jewish Alliance and the Faith and Politics Institute. Emanuel is also involved with Chrysalis, which Murphy also supports. Lindelof will be interviewed by Cynthia Littleton, Variety’s Co-Editor-in-Chief about how he assesses storytelling opportunities as a writer and producer across film and TV platforms. His most recent television credits include the series “Watchmen” and “The Leftovers,” both of which he was co-creator and showrunner. He’s next executive producing Peacock’s “Mrs. Davis” with showrunner Tara Hernandez.

With “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” now out in theaters, it’s time to see if Universal‘s animated feature performs better than the 1993 live-action film.

Seth Rogen, who currently stars in “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” has voiced many animated characters – everything from BOB in “Monsters vs. Aliens” to Pumbaa in the reimagined version of “The Lion King.” He even had a brief voice role in “Shrek the Third,” which was released the same year as his breakout film “Knocked Up” back in 2007.

Movie.” Rogen, who voices Donkey Kong in the adaptation of the popular video game series, tells Variety at the film’s premiere, “When I was 11, I saw the original ‘Mario Bros.’ movie and I was so excited. But it’s one of the worst films ever made. I was so disappointed. I think it made me realize that movies, like, could be bad. That never occurred to me until that moment. “It really bummed me out,” he continues. “It’s nice to vindicate that moment. It’s nice to know that 11-year-olds out there that they won’t be disappointed in the same way that I was.”
