As fans of the hit Netflix show know, one of the biggest bombshells in season 5 was that Christine Quinn allegedly tried to bribe one of Emma Hernan‘s clients so that they would no longer work with her.

The reality star told the outlet that not only was the alleged offer “completely unethical,” it could also have been “illegal” if a document had been signed.
“If Emma had had the listing agreement signed already, which she was getting ready to, it would be illegal,” Mary explained. “So [Christine] would lose her license, she would lose everything. But the listing agreement for this particular property wasn’t signed just yet, luckily. Otherwise, she would have legal issues.”
She went on to make it clear that this type of behavior was not something the brokerage would tolerate. “We pride ourselves on our integrity and the way we treat clients and the way we treat each other and we can’t have this at our brokerage,” she said. “It’s just – it’s not okay.”
While Christine has yet to explicitly deny the accusations, she did insinuate that they were fabricated for the show on social media. “30 minutes till the launch of #SellingSunset enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines,” she wrote on Twitter.
Earlier this week it was revealed Christine had not attended the show’s reunion, leading one of her co-stars to call her out on social media.
