A “selfish” Scots woman who embezzled almost £250,000 from a small print works company has been told to expect a lengthy time behind bars.
Sarah Cockburn stole funds from James McVicar Printers between 2013 and 2019 plunging the firm into financial difficulty and causing anxiety to the owner.
Cockburn, 33, appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court where she pleaded guilty to embezzlement of £239,207 in what was described by Sheriff Andrew Cubie as “fundamental selfishness”.
