A Scots woman has posted about her emotional reunion with family after a four-year trip abroad. Madison Frain surprised her relatives after returning home for Christmas from Australia, reports Edinburgh Live.
The Edinburgh woman shared her stunned family members reactions on social media after she arrived home unexpectedly. The video began with her landing at Edinburgh Airport and explaining that none of her family or friends knew she was back.
The TikToker, then went onto share a montage of her family members varying reactions to her arrival back home. First on the list, was Madison's mother who was delighted upon opening the door to see that her daughter had returned.
The clip then moved onto other friends and family's reaction to her arrival back home for the first time since the pandemic. Many were moved to tears and other bursting with cheer to be reunited with Madison.
Many people were quick to share their thoughts on the viral video, which has racked up over 123k views and almost 15k likes at the time of writing. A lot of social media users stated, that much like the people in the clip, that they were also moved to tears.
One person said: "Omg I am absolutely blithering at this video, the best welcome coming home to Scotland." Another user agreed, stating: "This made me smile. I'm from Edinburgh and there is no place like home."
A third commented: "What a blessing in life to have this many people so genuinely happy to see you." Meanwhile, others were quick to praise the use of Caledonia in the background of the video.
Someone said :"Love these videos.. but that song when your Scottish just hits different. Another agreed, commenting: "These videos along with Caledonia has me absolutely sobbing, welcome home."
