An Ayr woman last seen two days ago has sparked an urgent police search. Catherine Pollock, also known as Goodwin, was last seen at around 1.30pm on Thursday 4th August 2022 in Princess Street, Ardrossan.

A Scots teenager has been reported missing as police launch an urgent appeal to trace them.
Emma, known as Aster, was last seen leaving an address on Waverly Drive, Glenrothes at around 10pm on Saturday
Aster is described as being 5ft 4ins in height, of medium build, with short brown hair in a pixie cut with red through it.
They were most likely wearing a red Joker T-shirt, a black hooded top and black shorts at the time of their disappearance.
Aster also has links to the Irvine area and may have travelled there by bus and train.
Anyone who may have seen Aster since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact the police.
This can be one by calling Police Scotland on 101 and quoting incident number 4177 of Saturday, July 16.
