Disgusting footage has emerged of a Scots man kicking his dog repeatedly after a street row.
The shocking incident took place on Friday, October 27 in Musselburgh, East Lothian and was filmed by a horrified local who witnessed the attack.
After hearing shouts from the street a concerned neighbour went to see what was going on and captured the cruel incident on camera before reporting it.
In the footage, the man can be seen hitting the dog in the back before kicking it violently in the chest until it falls to the ground.
The scared resident told Edinburgh Live: "Tonight we witnessed a couple fighting who had a dog with them.
"Due to how serious it was beginning to sound we decided to record in case the male in the video was going to physically attack the female and if that happened we would have evidence.
“Instead the male kicks his dog in the chest until the dog falls to the ground. This was extremely distressing and we were unable to intervene as the male ran off with the dog."

They added: “No animal should ever be subjected to this kind of violence. The dog was only standing loyalty beside his owner before being physically beaten for no reason.
“We wanted to share this so we can find out who this is, as I am sure someone will recognise him.”
Police Scotland confirmed that they received a phone call and appropriate advice was given.
